    The UAE lies at the heart of Arabian Gulf and surrounded from the North and North west by the Gulf, from the west by Qatar and Saudi Arabia and from the south by Sultanate of Oman and Saudi Arabia and from the East by the Gulf of Oman and the Sultanate of Oman.

    The Population of UAE is 2,800,000 according to 1996 survey, and its area is 77,700 km2.

    Arabic is the official language of UAE. A large sector of the population is well versed in English as a result of the presence of mixture of other nationalities.

    Islam is the official religion and mosques built in magnificent Islamic architectural styles are all over country. There are also some churches for Christians expatriates.

    Visitors, except GCC citizens, need an entry visa. The Airline companies, Hotels, and UAE embassies abroad can issue this.
    Visitors with Israeli stamps in their passports will be refused entry.

    240 Volts, AC 50 Hz (Abu Dhabi).

    United Arab Emirates culture is firmly rooted in the Islamic traditions of Arabia. Courtesy and hospitality are among the most highly prized of virtues. And you are sure to be charmed by genuine warmth and friendliness that greets the visitor. UAE society is marked by a high degree of tolerance for difference lifestyles. Foreigners are free to practice their own religion, alcohol is served in hotels and, provided reasonable discretion is shown, the dress code is liberal. Women face no discrimination and may drive and move around unescorted.
    Despite rapid economic development in recent years,UAE remains close to its heritage. Local citizens dress in traditional robes and head dresses. Arab culture and folklore find expression in poetry, dancing songs and traditional art. Weddings and other celebrations are colorful occasions of feasting and music, and traditional sports such as falconry, camel racing and Dhow racing at sea, continue to thrive.
